You think you understand comics but until you read this book…several times you have not begun to understand comics.

I read this book at least once a year and am always learning from it. 

It ambitiously defines comics, explains time and transitions, the relationship bewteen words and pictures and includes the entire world of comics. 

Plus it is presented as a graphic novel!

I can’t minimize how often I think and refer to this book when writing comics.
