The DC Comics Guide to Writing Comics by Dennis O’Neil

This book is part of the larger DC Comics Guide series, with this volume focused on writing.

Dennis O’Neil, a 20-year veteran editor and writer, is best known for his work on Batman.

It covers the basics of comic scriptwriting, including different script formats, writing single issues versus series, and crafting dialogue and humor.

It’s a solid introduction to comic writing, but I found it lacking the depth I was hoping for.
